The original cabin was shipped from Norway by the renowned artist Alfred Heaton Cooper in the late 19th century, who with his family lived in the log cabin as well as using it as his studio.
We have three bedrooms, two rooms still have the original log beams, the third room has stunning views over the fells. All rooms have ensuite facilities, LCD TV's, DVD & Video players, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary wireless broadband connection.
Oh...and the most comfortable beds ever.
